Whether you are a fan of McLaren the company or McLaren the man, there is a lot to celebrate between the pages of this elegantly designed book that contains numerous historic and never-beforeseen photographs.

Tracing Bruce McLaren's early success on the racetrack, it also follows his career as the engineer behind some of the world's fastest cars and the incredible legacy of speed and performance that he left behind.

Lavishly illustrated and featuring exclusive interviews with Patty McLaren-Brickett, Martin Whitmarsh, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, and Jenson Button, along with key members of the McLaren team across the decades, this unique, definitive, and beautiful book is as much a pleasure to read as it is to flick through.

About the Author

Maurice Hamilton is a freelance journalist and broadcaster specialising in Formula 1 racing. He has written for the Guardian and Observer during the past 25 years and his reports have appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live, and, most currently, TalkSport, where he is the F1 correspondent.

Paul Fearnley spent much of his formative life in his father's 1933 Frazer Nash TT Replica. He has long been in thrall to old cars, past and current motor racing. He has been a motor sport reporter since 1990 and has gone on to be editor of Motoring News, F1 Racing and Motor Sport magazines. He lives in France.

Ron Dennis CBE, executive chairman of McLaren Group, has been a pioneering force within motor sport. He has successfully traversed the world of Formula 1 racing and high-end sports car design, development and manufacturing. He has been the most successful team chief in the history of Formula 1, leading the team to eight Constructors' and 12 Drivers' World Championship titles.

This deluxe and lavishly illustrated book documents a halfcentury of Formula 1 with Britain's most famous racing cars.
