A superbly illustrated book on a surprisingly neglected period of top flight motor racing featuring the likes of Grand Prix legends Clark, Brabham, Rindt and Amon, among many others. Choice reminisces from the personalities involved, it’s a valuable publication, hard to come by in the northern hemisphere too. Only wish it had a full results list instead of a season by season overview. Highly recommended to all fans of motor racing at the highest level.
Excellent record of the period when open wheel racing was the dominant category.
Fabulous and historically accurate content. Just amazing photography that I have in many instances not scene before.
great book brings back many memories of the past.
I used to assist scrutineers at Warwick Farm over these times Just a wonderful recollection
A comprehensive record of an iconic period of single-seater racing in Australia and New Zealand.
I think is the most incredible book I ever had. 500 pages with more then 1000 (!) photos. Photo quality 100% , also the paper is fantastic. Buy it. !!!!
An excellent book. Many memories from my flag marshalling days at Pukekohe and Bay Park.
I have great memories of the Tasman Cup and believe it was the best era in Australian Motor Racing. Tony Loxley's book is magnificent both in photos and text. Thank you Tony. I highly recommend it.
