Key content

  • An incredible collection of racing driver biographies presented in three volumes within a slipcase.
  • An extraordinary range of drivers covered, from the true greats to those obscure or long-forgotten characters who enrich the sport.
  • The drivers included meet the following criteria: all Fl drivers; leading finishers at Le Mans and the Indy 500; top three finishers in pre-war grands prix; race winners in major international categories such as GT, World Sports Car Championship, CART, IRL, non-championship F1, Aurora F1, NA SCAR, Tasman, CanAm and European F3 races; points scorers in F2, F3000 and GP2 championships — and one or two wild cards to complete the story.
  • Appealing to enthusiasts in so many ways: a definitive biographical reference; a source of statistics; a wonderful collection of portrait photographs, a mine of factual information both significant and arcane.
